Out of Bounds – Rule 27-1
Beyond any wall, fence or white stakes defining the
course.
To the left of Holes 1, 11, 12 and 13 and behind the
putting green of Holes 1 and 11.
A ball which comes to rest behind the putting green
of Hole 7 and to the left of Holes 10 and 16 is Out
of Bounds even though it may lie on another part of
the course.
2. Lateral Water Hazards – Rule 26
Lateral Water Hazards are defined by red stakes. Where
red lines are in existence they define the margin.
3. Immovable Obstructions – Rule 24-2
(a) Concrete drainage channels and wooden barricades
adjacent to the buggy paths and
(b) damages caused by buggies or other vehicles adjoining
the buggy paths are part of the immovable obstruction.
4. Ground under Repair – Rule 25-1
(a) Deep tire ruts through the green,
(b) small open drains including herring bone drains
through the green,
(c) crevices and erosions in bunkers caused by rainwater,
(d) flower beds and
(e) areas encircled by white line are Ground under
Repair.
5. Protection of Young Trees (Identified by stakes
or plastic sleeves)

6. Relief from Edging Grooves
If a ball lies on an edging groove around a putting
green, the player may, without penalty, lift the
ball, clean it and place it out of the groove in
the nearest position to where it lay, whether on
or off the putting green, which is not nearer the
hole.
7. Relief for Embedded Ball
Relief extended to through the green. Specimen Local
Rule in the Rules of Golf is in effect - App. I,
Part A-3a.
8. Stones in Bunkers (App. I, Part A-3f)
Stones in bunkers are movable obstructions –
Rule 24-1 applies.
