The
following
By-Laws
are
formulated
in
accordance
to
the
Club
Constitution
for
the
purpose
of
regulating
all
Gym
activities
at
Kelab
Golf
Sarawak.
BY-LAWS
1.
Definition
“Club”
means
Kelab
Golf
Sarawak
“Constitution”
means
the
Constitution
of
Kelab
Golf
Sarawak
“Gym”
refers
to
Gym
of
Kelab
Golf
Sarawak
2.
Who
May
Use
(a)
All
Principal
Members,
Members’
Spouse,
Family
Members
above
the
age
of
16
years
and
Junior
Members
between
18
to
below
21
years
of
age
upon
registration
as
Gym
Members
are
allowed
to
use
the
gym
subject
to
payment
of
appropriate
fees.
(b)
Family
Members
under
the
age
of
16
years
are
allowed
to
utilise
the
gym
facilities
for
special
training
purposes
approved
by
the
Junior
Golf
Development
Committee
or
other
relevant
committees
and
authorities.
(c)
Children
of
Principal
Members
at
the
age
of
21
years
and
above
who
are
studying
or
residing
abroad
may
be
allowed
to
use
the
gym
facilities
during
holidays
or
vacation
at
a
fee
of
RM50.00
per
month
or
RM10.00
per
session
to
be
duly
debited
to
the
Member’s
account.
(d)
Members
from
reciprocal
clubs
subject
to
the
terms
and
conditions
of
the
reciprocal
arrangement.
3.
Operating
Hours
Monday
&
Tuesday |

p.m. |
The
Operating
Hours
may
be
changed
from
time
to
time.
Prior
notice
will
be
put
up
on
the
relevant
notice
boards
at
least
1
week
before
the
proposed
changes.
4.
Gym
Membership
Registration
(a)
Any
member
who
wishes
to
make
use
of
the
Gym
is
required
to
register
as
a
Gym
Member.
The
member
concerned
may
be
required
to
undergo
a
physical
and/or
medical
assessment
before
he/she
is
accepted
as
a
Gym
Member.
The
Club
reserves
the
right
to
reject
any
application
for
registration
without
assigning
any
reason
whatsoever.
(b)
Upon
acceptance
of
the
member’s
application
for
registration,
the
member
will
be
charged
a
monthly
fee
stipulated
by
the
Club.
The
Club
reserves
the
right
to
adjust
the
fee
at
any
time
subject
to
a
prior
notification
of
at
least
2
weeks
to
be
given
to
the
gym
members.
(c)
Family
Members
and
Junior
Members
who
are
between
the
ages
of
16
to
below
21
years
are
required
to
obtain
official
parental
consent
and
endorsement
in
the
Gym
Registration
document
before
they
can
be
accepted
as
Gym
Members.
(d)
The
Club
reserves
the
right
to
book
the
gym
and
exclude
registered
gym
members
and
other
club
members
for
the
purpose
of
holding
competitions,
exhibitions
or
any
activity
as
the
Club
may
deem
fit.
(e)
The
Gym
shall
not
be
used
for
any
other
activity
except
as
determined
by
the
Club.
5.
Attire
All
Gym
Users
shall
be
appropriately
attired
when
utilizing
all
gym
facilities.
Rubber
soled
sports
shoes/sneakers
must
be
worn
at
all
times
in
the
Gym.
(No
individual
shall
work
out
in
the
Gym
without
a
shirt
on)
6.
Smoking
Smoking
is
strictly
prohibited
in
the
Gym.
7.
Registration
Book
Gym
Members
must
sign
in
the
Registration
Book
provided
at
the
counter
before
they
utilise
the
Gym
facilities.
8.
Damage
to
Equipment
Any
member
who
causes
damage
to
the
gym
equipment
or
any
part
thereof
shall
make
good
by
paying
to
the
Club
the
costs
of
repairing
or
replacement
of
the
damaged
equipment.
9.
Property
of
the
Club
Any
equipment,
magazines
and
other
items
that
belong
to
the
Gym
shall
not
be
taken
or
removed
from
the
Gym
without
the
approval
of
the
Club
Management.
10.
Children
Save
By-Law
2
(b)
above
and
Family
Members
under
the
age
of
16
years
who
have
registered
as
Gym
Members
on
or
before
1
June
2006,
children
under
the
age
of
16
years
are
prohibited
from
entering
the
Gym.
11.
Non-Liability
for
Injuries
The
Club,
its
agents
and
servants
shall
not
be
liable
to
any
member
or
guest
for
any
accident
resulting
in
injuries,
disablement,
or
death
from
the
use
of
the
Gym.
12.
Code
of
Conduct
All
Gym
Members
and
Guests
are
to
strictly
observe
the
code
of
conduct
and
decorum
in
the
Gym
at
all
times.
The
Gym
Supervisor,
his
staff
or
the
Club
security
personnel
shall
at
any
time
have
the
discretion
to
eject
any
member
or
guest
who
breaches
any
of
these
by-laws.
13.
Disciplinary
Actions
The
Club
reserves
the
right
to
exercise
disciplinary
actions
on
any
member
in
breach
of
any
of
the
Gym
By-Laws
in
accordance
with
the
Club
Constitution.
14.
Amendment
to
the
By-Laws
The
Club
reserves
the
right
to
amend
any
of
the
above
By-Laws
from
time
to
time
as
it
deems
fit.
Such
amendments
shall
be
conveyed
to
the
members
through
appropriate
announcements
posted
on
the
notice
boards.
